Seattle NOOD on Puget Sound off of Shilshole Marina was a nice 3-day warm-up a decent turnout of 11 boats including a few that travelled from other Fleets;
Western Regionals in Long Beach was good practice sailing in moderate breeze and waves with great competition from top California competitors;
TMC Districts was to be our first J/24 sailing in the Bay; disappointed to get only a few beats and a run in during the practice race before getting holed and “sinking” our participation in the Districts;
And Puget Sound Sailing Championships in our home waters off of Shilshole Marina rounding out the season–although there was only one day of racing (due to fluky light winds on Sunday), it was great to have 19 boats sailing in the season finale–we felt pretty fast despite sailing a “borrowed boat”.
Off to Buenos Aires for the Pre-Worlds!
